Assistant General Manager
Storycannabis is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead their dispensary team. This role focuses on driving sales growth, maintaining inventory controls, and developing staff to align with company goals.

Responsibilities
Working with the General Manager to plan and implement sales strategies to drive positive sales growth within the dispensary
Maintaining strong inventory controls and making sure that the store is upholding compliance standards
Coaching, training, and developing staff, making sure they are aligned with the company's goals and vision
Partnering with the General Manager to help create, monitor, and track the store's KPIs, and leveraging data to help drive decisions around labor costs, sales strategies, and training opportunities
Helping to hire, train and onboard new staff within the dispensary
Assisting with the store's day to day operations and partnering with other internal teams, such as marketing, retail operations, and supply chain
Qualification
Required
3+ years of management experience in a high-volume retail environment
Experience with point of sales systems and backend compliance tools, such as Dutchie and Metrc
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to recruit and train staff
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Analytical with the ability to set and track store KPIs
Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Must be over 21 years of age
Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ pounds
Must be able to either sit or stand for long periods of time
Must have reliable transportation
Must have no scheduling restrictions

Preferred
High School education or GED required, associate's degree or higher preferred
Previous experience in the cannabis industry a bonus
