Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking: Program Coordinator
The Tennessee Secretary of State is dedicated to serving the public with high levels of accuracy and accountability. They are seeking a Program Coordinator to manage the Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking Program, focusing on outreach, partnership development, and program efficiency.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrative official in charge of the administration of the Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking Program (TBAT)
Conduct outreach and maintain relationships with law enforcement, community advocates, and other partners across the state. Must be comfortable with public speaking
Work as part of the Secretary of State’s overall leadership team to build capacity and strategy for the office related to the TBAT program. Participate in leadership team meetings, staff training, and provide community presentations
Oversee the strategic development of partnerships in the community that will enhance and streamline relevant service provision; maintain current partnerships; represent the Secretary of State’s Office in public, professional, and governmental forums, advocating for client needs within the community
Oversee TBAT program budget and manage expenses to ensure costs are maintained within allocated budgets
Develop and manage a system to track and monitor program efficiency and outcomes, including training tools. Design partner surveys, training and certification program, evaluation, and outcome tracking tools. Track data and write programmatic reports
Work with the Secretary of State’s Office and other organizations to develop, implement, and monitor anti-trafficking awareness and training programs, partnerships, materials and services that serve the needs of at-risk clients including survivors of trafficking and unaccompanied minors
Facilitate and support the Secretary of State’s Office and the efforts other organizations fighting human trafficking with multi-disciplinary partnerships to ensure effective training and development of TBAT initiatives throughout the state of Tennessee
Serve as a point of contact for businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies across the state
Facilitate communication and information sharing about TBAT through monthly newsletters, program reports, and other types of communications
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub-professional experience or para-professional or professional experience may be substituted for the required education
Experience working in anti-trafficking or related fields is preferred
Applicants must have demonstrated skills in the operations of word processing and database management software programs, preferably Microsoft Word for Windows and Excel
Ability to solve problems and effectively manage daily conflicts under time constraints
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in schedules, great attention to detail, and demonstrated skill in multi-tasking
Ability to maintain confidentiality
