IT Support Technician
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software across supported agencies, providing technical support, and collaborating with IT teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
Responsible for agency PC and end user IT equipment tracking and inventory management
Provides troubleshooting and technical support for computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices for PCs and other IT Department equipment across all agencies
Installs, configures, and maintains computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
Answers the Help Desk line and responds promptly to Help Desk requests and service tickets
Travels to remote locations when necessary to resolve technical issues or install equipment
Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software problems; repairs issues or assesses the extent of problems that may require outside vendor support and/or additional travel
Assists in maintaining current agency hardware and software standards
Assists in maintaining agency security standards and related software tools
Performs all other related job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Ability to Pass a Florida level II background check and drug screening
Experience providing technical support for Windows-based systems, hardware, and peripherals
Working knowledge of basic networking concepts, software installation, and system imaging
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to accurately document IT processes and maintain up-to-date asset inventory records
Possession of a valid Florida drivers license
Preferred
Previous Help Desk or IT support experience preferred
Knowledge of telecommunications (VOIP) a plus
Technical Certification(s) is desirable (MCP, A+, CC, or ITF+)
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
Ability to safely perform tasks that may require lifting, moving, or handling items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders to access work areas or equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation

9 paid holidays per year
3 weeks of PTO per year (on top of holidays). PTO increases to 4 weeks/year after 2 years of employment, and then to 5 weeks/year after 5 years of employment.
