Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems
Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS
Develop RESTful services and integrate third-party systems
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders

Required

8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, RESTful APIs
Experience building Microservices architecture
Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Proficiency in Git and Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Must be local to Atlanta, GA
Must be available for in-person interview
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka/SQS/SNS)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular/React) is a plus
AWS Certification preferred
