Responsibilities
Provide technical support and solutions to the sales team and customers from pre-sale strategy through client implementation for at least two different product ranges
Creates an overview of all the mayor activities to the execution of the project and creates a risk assessment regarding all of these activities
Making cost-price calculations and detailed offers and quotations
Assessing (technical) RFQ specifications in consultation with Sales
Performs, checks and/or assesses technical specifications where applicable
Makes creative designs to satisfy technical requirements with most cost-effective proposal (total landed cost)
Supports the development/optimization of calculation models for technical and cost-price calculations when requested
Conceptual design of the respective products
Maintains contact with (prospective) clients (with the support of the team members with regards to technical discussions)
Supports Sales in the correct transfer of a client order to the project manager(s)
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
0–5 years of experience in a technical or commercial engineering role; prior experience in the Engineering design, and/or commercial industrial manufacturing industry is helpful
A proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Good communication and intercultural skills
Strong English skills (both spoken and written). Dutch is a plus
Flexibility and readiness to travel (5-10%)
A collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgency and initiative
You know your way in MS Excel (incl. basic VBA programming), Word and PowerPoint
Travel required. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10-20% of time for customer meetings, supplier visits, head-office visits (Netherlands) and project kick-offs
Valid Driver's License
