5+ years of experience working as a Database Administrator in cloud or enterprise environments
Hands-on experience administering Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra in production systems
Strong experience with database performance tuning, including query optimization and resource tuning
Proven experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions that meet business continuity objectives
Experience implementing and supporting high availability solutions, including clustering and replication
Ability to tune and support complex database systems across:
Application level
Database level
System/infrastructure level
Experience supporting mission-critical, production environments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working as a Database Administrator in cloud or enterprise environments
Hands-on experience administering Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra in production systems
Strong experience with database performance tuning, including query optimization and resource tuning
Proven experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions that meet business continuity objectives
Experience implementing and supporting high availability solutions, including clustering and replication
Ability to tune and support complex database systems across application level, database level, and system/infrastructure level
Experience supporting mission-critical, production environments
Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Exposure to automation or scripting for database administration tasks
Experience supporting large-scale or high-transaction systems
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for database performance and health
Prior experience in a healthcare or regulated environment
