Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance, leadership, and oversight for enterprise security architecture and Zero Trust initiatives
Design and develop cloud security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles
Lead and oversee security architecture and design initiatives across large-scale environments
Provide technical leadership for the implementation of security and Zero Trust programs
Develop cloud security architecture roadmaps and long-term security strategies
Support secure cloud deployments across private, hybrid, and on-premise virtualized environments
Design security event visibility, telemetry, logging, and monitoring architectures
Provide architectural oversight for Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) technologies
Define network security requirements, policies, and technical security controls
Apply network segmentation and defense-in-depth strategies
Incorporate OT/IoT security requirements and controls into enterprise security architectures
Develop scope, cost estimates, and implementation schedules for cloud security tooling
Conduct cloud application and platform security assessments
Evaluate, recommend, and guide adoption of new security products and solutions
Serve as a subject-matter expert in emerging technologies, including AI, IoT, robotic process automation, blockchain, and quantum computing
Qualification
Required
Expert-level design and implementation of Zero Trust architectures
Hands-on experience with hyperscaler cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent)
Cloud deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code templates
Micro-segmentation, VPC/VNet architectures, and SD-LANs
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies
Firewalls and web application security controls
IDS/IPS solutions
SIEM platforms and centralized logging and auditing
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
Network security architecture and enterprise security controls
OT/IoT security architecture and controls
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
10+ years of experience providing technical leadership in architecture, cybersecurity, and deployment strategies within hyperscaler cloud environments
5+ years serving as a technical service delivery lead or architect for complex, high-criticality systems (e.g., High FIPS 199 categorization or High Value Assets)
Active, in-good-standing hyperscaler cloud certifications and/or advanced cloud specialty certifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Typical career level aligns with approximately 12–15 years of relevant experience

Advanced expertise in emerging cloud technologies such as AI, IoT, RPA, blockchain, and quantum computing
