Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will support a team in the coordination, execution, and strategic development of local sports and entertainment partnerships, managing client communications and overseeing sponsorship programs.

Responsibilities
Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients
Manage multiple client contacts and projects at once, keeping everyone aligned, informed, and impressed
Lead property reviews and year-end evaluations, telling compelling stories about partnership ROI and uncovering new growth opportunities
Hunt for new local sports and entertainment properties that fit our portfolio and excite our clients
Support pitching these opportunities with confidence, negotiate smart deals, and conduct valuations that create win-win scenarios
Own the full-service partnership strategy and make sure every detail is handled
Serve as the bridge between properties, clients, and legal teams, ensuring smooth execution and strong relationships throughout
Identify renewal and expansion opportunities that keep accounts growing and thriving
Develop strategic recommendations backed by data and insights that align with what your clients actually need
Work hand-in-hand with GMR's Engagement team to bring bold creative activations and social media strategies to life
Coordinate with the client’s Rewards team to design inventory packages that deliver real fan engagement and drive program success
Tap into GMR's expert teams, from gaming and NASCAR to NBA/WNBA and Olympics, to expand what you can offer and deepen client partnerships
Monitor competitive sponsorship activity and industry trends, ensuring your clients always know what's next
Lead partnership recaps and performance evaluations, translating data into clear stories about what's working and what to do next
Work with third-party measurement partners to quantify ROI and refine strategies based on real data
Drive the monthly sponsorship reports and help shape the conversation about partnership performance and opportunity
Travel a few times per year to meet with properties and clients face-to-face
Qualification
Required
