Assistant Director of Program Operations
Ohio Valley Residential Services is dedicated to enriching the lives of persons with developmental disabilities and their families. The Assistant Director of Program Operations is responsible for overseeing and administering systems to ensure compliance and promote quality outcomes, utilizing data analysis to enhance programmatic resources and support services.
Responsibilities
Advocates for the individuals served by OVRS to ensure the health, well being and rights of each individual
Assist with ensuring that sites are compliant with State of Ohio Department of DD regulations
Coordinate the implementation of OVRS policies and procedures
Fulfill the duties of HIPPA Compliance Officer
Participate in investigation of issues as delegated by Chief Director of Program Services
Provide oversight and audit review of OVRS Quality Assurance Process
Provide oversight of the OVRS electronic client record system and process
Provide oversight of OVRS professional development training which includes providing staff training as the back up to the OVRS Professional Development Coordinator position
Provide backup coverage when Chief Director of Program Operations is out
Provide backup coverage when a Program Coordinator position is vacant
Provide input to Chief Director of Program Operations related to collaboration with other agencies, service/support teams and family members of individuals served by OVRS to facilitate implementation of service/support plan and positive working relationships
Attend ongoing professional training and recommends staff development training based on the needs of individuals

Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions, which are timely, and in the best interests of the organization
Organization: Set priorities, develop project schedules, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities
Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results
Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a BA/BS in Human Services related field
Minimum of 4 (four) year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
Minimum of 2 (two) year supervisory experience
Valid driver license and ability to pass OVRS fleet insurability requirements including 3 years driving experience and have a vehicle that can be used on the job
Ability to pass employment standards as defined by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities
Computer skills including ability to use all Microsoft Office programs and experience with implementing and managing database systems

Preferred project and compliance management experience
