Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

Process customer payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely application to accounts
Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collections and minimize outstanding balances
Reconcile customer accounts, investigate payment discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding invoices
Generate and distribute invoices, statements, and collection notices in accordance with company policies
Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries, overdue accounts, and dispute resolution
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth account management and customer satisfaction
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial reporting and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory guidelines in all accounts receivable transactions

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data entry and financial transactions
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions and internal collaboration

Preferred
