LHH is a respected defense firm in the Pittsburgh area, and they are seeking a motivated Entry‑Level Toxic Tort Attorney to join their growing litigation team. This role offers hands-on training, strong mentorship, and early responsibility in case handling for new attorneys eager to build a career in toxic tort and environmental exposure.

Responsibilities

Assist senior attorneys with all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery responses, and briefs

Review and analyze medical records, scientific reports, and exposure histories

Participate in deposition preparation, document review, and case strategy meetings

Communicate with clients, experts, and co-counsel under supervision

Support trial preparation, including evidence organization and exhibit prep

Qualification

J.D. from accredited law schoolLegal writing skillsLegal research skillsInterest in toxic tort lawAttention to detailCollaborative team environmentManaging multiple deadlines

Required

J.D. from an accredited law school

Strong legal writing and research skills

Interest in toxic tort, mass tort, product liability, or environmental law

Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail

Desire to grow professionally within a collaborative team environment

Preferred

Prior exposure to toxic tort, mass tort, insurance defense, or scientific/medical document review (e.g., internships, clinics, research roles)

Experience working with complex case files or large datasets
