They are seeking a high-level Fiber / Structured Cabling Technician with strong hands-on experience to support projects throughout the Indianapolis area, focusing on clean installations in commercial and data center environments.

Responsibilities
Install, dress, and terminate fiber optic cabling (single-mode and multi-mode)
Perform fusion splicing using Belden fiber housing products
Test and troubleshoot fiber using industry-standard tools and procedures
Maintain clean, labeled, and well-documented fiber infrastructure
Install and support structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A)
Build and dress MDF/IDF rooms, racks, patch panels, ladder tray, and pathways
Support low voltage systems including security, voice, and data as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and scope documents
Report directly to job sites or the Wired office depending on project location
Participate in a mandatory 1-hour safety orientation on Day 1
Follow all safety, quality, and company standards
Work under various project leads depending on assignment
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with fiber installation, termination, and splicing
Experience dressing and terminating fiber in commercial or data center environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening
Preferred
BICSI Level 2 Installer certification
Experience with Belden fiber products
General low voltage or structured cabling experience
