Senior Level, Lead/StaffTek One Solutions is an Enterprise AV Integrator seeking a Lead Audio-Visual Technician to support a large-scale AV upgrade program across school campuses in the Houston area. The role involves independently executing AV installations and providing site-level leadership and coordination for school modernization projects.

Responsibilities
Independently execute AV installations in active school environments
Serve as lead technician on assigned sites or project phases
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and scopes of work
Adapt to site conditions and coordinate with project management as needed
Maintain jobsite organization, safety, and professionalism
Install and support paging systems and audio infrastructure
Install projectors, displays, and digital signage
Install and terminate AV panels and associated cabling
Perform system testing and basic troubleshooting
Ensure clean, labeled, and code-compliant installations
Provide clear progress updates to project managers
Coordinate material needs and report issues proactively
Represent Tek One Solutions and the client with professionalism
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Lead or Senior AV Technician
Strong ability to work independently on complex AV scopes
Experience in education, commercial, or institutional environments
Ability to read and interpret AV drawings and project documentation
Willingness to travel within a 1–1.5 hour radius of the Houston, TX area
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Preferred
CTS or CTS-I (highly recommended)
Any additional AV manufacturer certifications are a strong plus
