Required

Candidates must be residents of the State of California at the time of appointment
This position requires lawful authorization to work in the United States
Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 12-point Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than two pages in length

Preferred

Knowledge of the California developmental disabilities service system; early intervention system; state and federal laws, policies and regulations governing these systems; and the services and needs of people with risk for developmental delay or disability
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel
Ability to analyze laws and regulations; excellent communication skills, and reason logically and creatively
Ability to analyze data and present ideas and information effectively; develop, review and/or edit written reports
Ability to establish and maintain project priorities; develop and maintain cooperative and constructive working relationships with other agencies, our community, and department staff
Ability to work with professional personnel in the field relating to coordinating and developing services for people with developmental needs
Ability to analyze situations accurately and take effective action
