In this role, you will optimize manufacturing operations, develop efficient processes, and ensure the highest quality standards across production lines, driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities
Develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization
Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes
Identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve
Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials
May act as a knowledge resource and guide for less experienced engineers
May work on processes for new or more complex products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with strong mechanical knowledge
Proven experience in manufacturing process engineering within a production environment or manufacturing facility
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer and application skills (Microsoft Office Suite & CAD Software)
Excellent project management and time prioritization skills with the ability to lead project teams
Must have strong decision-making abilities
Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues
Understanding of machining, geometric tolerances, and strength of materials
Preferred
Powdered metal experience preferred
Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing
