Responsibilities
Participates in the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of employees in their respective departments
Directs the work efforts of employees in their respective departments
Assists in Performance Reviews and identifies the need for performance management of employees in their respective department
Tracks and assists in write-up process for employee’s attendance in their respective departments
Provides backup for their department’s Manager in instances including attending meetings, acting as a decision maker, and reviewing UKG and time sheets, as directed
Performs job interviews for positions within their department
Qualification
Required
Experience in a leadership role within a production environment
Ability to coordinate and perform production activities
Knowledge of safety, quality, and productivity standards
Experience in hiring, onboarding, training, and development of employees
Ability to direct work efforts of employees
Experience in performance reviews and performance management
Ability to track attendance and assist in write-up processes
Ability to provide backup for department manager
Experience in conducting job interviews
