Surveying Technician
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is seeking Surveying Technicians for temporary positions during the 2026 Construction Season. These roles involve assisting in field survey responsibilities and provide an opportunity to gain experience that may lead to permanent employment with MnDOT.

Qualification
Required
A valid Class D Driver's License AND the ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver - Class B license with no air brake restrictions and tanker endorsement
Twelve months of experience performing activities in either Surveys (e.g., land, location, and construction surveys, etc.), or Construction (roadway, bridge construction, residential or commercial instruction) or related activities
A two year Civil or Construction Technology Degree or the following four-year degrees: Architectural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering; Land Surveying / Geomatics; or equivalent
