Responsibilities
Execute daily warehouse activities including receiving, staging, picking, loading, and unloading materials
Ensure materials are handled safely and in accordance with company procedures
Stage materials accurately for scheduled jobs and deliveries
Verify quantities, product types, and job-specific requirements prior to loading
Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse areas
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution
Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials promptly
Support inventory loss prevention through proper storage and handling
Receive incoming vendor deliveries and transfer shipments
Inspect inbound materials for accuracy and damage
Ensure materials are stored in correct locations and properly identified
Communicate shortages or delivery issues to the Operations Supervisor
Load delivery trucks safely and accurately based on delivery schedules
Secure loads to prevent damage or safety risks during transport
Unload returned materials and stage appropriately
Support drivers with jobsite-specific loading requirements as needed
Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
Maintain clean aisles, organized storage zones, and safe work areas
Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to the Operations Supervisor immediately
Take direction from the Operations Supervisor on daily priorities
Support other team members to meet operational demands
Reinforce accountability, consistency, and attention to detail on the warehouse floor
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, construction supply, or material handling is preferred
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Experience handling pipe, fittings, valves, or similar construction materials is preferred
Basic computer experience
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in an active warehouse environment
