Phaxis is seeking a hands-on AI Architect / Technical Lead to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI and machine learning solutions. The role focuses on taking AI solutions from concept through production while ensuring scalability, security, and real business impact.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and customers to lead AI and GenAI discovery workshops, identify high-value use cases, and translate business challenges into scalable AI and machine learning solution architectures

Define AI strategies, technical roadmaps, and solution blueprints, producing clear proposals, architecture diagrams, and executive-level documentation to support delivery and adoption

Architect, build, and deploy production-ready AI platforms for leading AI/ML frameworks and cloud platforms

Design and develop LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering, orchestration workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), grounding strategies, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring

Apply broader machine learning techniques (e.g., classification, regression, forecasting, recommendation systems) and integrate ML models into enterprise applications, APIs, and workflows

Establish best practices, reusable components, and governance guardrails for AI development, supporting secure, responsible, and cost-effective enterprise adoption

Act as the AI technical lead, mentoring engineers, leading architecture and design reviews, and ensuring operational readiness, compliance, and responsible AI practices across all deployments
