Responsibilities
Assists by performing facility inspections and making repairs to buildings, grounds, out buildings, street lighting, mechanical repairs to all operational equipment, such as, a/c & heat systems and any other items needed for daily operational use
The incumbent will work with the a/c & heat system and perform the detailed daily routine of checking and making notes of all chillers, water towers and air handler units
Including all pumps for chilled water and cooling tower water, checking gauges for proper pressures and temperatures for optimum operational use
Making notes for records and making any adjustments as needed. Performing monthly filter cleaning/changing and annual pm routines. Includes maintenance on ice makers and shop equipment
The incumbent may provide plumbing services, including minor repairs, preventive maintenance and quarterly inspections of flood control valves and completing valve maintenance inspection reports
Qualification
Required
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses
