Responsibilities
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for compliance and regulatory requirements regarding consumer accounts for internal and external audits which include but are not limited to SCRA, credit bureau reporting and CFPB supervisory guidelines and relevant laws such as bankruptcy laws
Balance the general ledger accounts by using knowledge of loan products including but not limited to installment, line of credit, credit card, home equity to perform accuracy of monetary and non-monetary transactions on the system
Review and ensure accurate reporting of consumer information to credit bureaus, following CDIA guidelines. Investigate and resolve credit bureau disputes including a review of internal account records and communication of corrections to the credit bureaus
Oversee processes related to ancillary product cancellations (GAP/MCP/MRC/CPI) required based on regulatory guidance
Prioritization workflows of the team to achieve established SLA’s
Perform assigned month-end processes including performing and validating charge-off transactions and required reporting and credit union processes such as annual tax forms
Provide direction to team members on the development, documentation, and implementation of new departmental procedures and policies as required by internal and external changes and updates
Collaborate with other teams and members to facilitate proper filing/return/management of required paperwork (i.e. SCRA, Assistance Programs, GAP/MCP/MRC/CPI/Deceased accounts claims, etc.)
Plan, oversee and lead the work of the team to meet functional and individual operational objectives and goals. Responsible for hire, fire, performance, discipline and problem-resolution decisions. Provide updates to the team on but not limited to the business, performance reviews, and development opportunities including cross-training
Recommend new and innovative projects to management that create efficiencies in the servicing operations and improve member experience as well as technology enhancements to increase productivity

Required
High School or Equivalent
2 Years Loan operations, loan servicing, collections or related
Preferred
4 Year Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Related
