Responsibilities
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Prepare and submit daily and weekly invoices for multiple projects and entities using both internal billing systems and external customer portals
Review project documentation and contracts to ensure accurate billing
Proactively monitor and resolve unbilled items, missing documentation, or discrepancies that delay invoicing
Track and follow up on disputed invoices and coordinate resolution with project managers and customers
Monitor AR aging reports for past due accounts and assist with collection efforts
Collaborate with internal teams (Project Management, Payroll, Procurement) to ensure billing accuracy and compliance
Monitor billing transactions to confirm receipt and approval of invoices
Escalate unresolved issues that impact cash flow or customer satisfaction
Continuously audit system entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English
Ability to communicate and follow-up with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner
Understanding of billing practices and AR processes
Basic experience using Microsoft Office products
Comfortable working in multiple systems and customer-specific billing portals
Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred
2+ years of billing and/or AR experience preferred
Knowledge of sales/use tax and construction billing formats (T&M, milestone, etc.) is a plus
