Responsibilities
Perform accurate cash handling, including processing deposits, withdrawals, debits & credits, and cash management with precision and integrity
Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting members warmly, addressing inquiries, and providing clear information about banking products and services
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling financial products such as loans, savings accounts, or credit cards to meet members’ needs
Assist members with basic math calculations for transactions and explain banking procedures clearly to ensure understanding
Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring account activity and adhering to security protocols during all transactions
Support loan origination processes by collecting necessary documentation, processing loan applications, and coordinating with relevant departments
Manage relationship building through proactive engagement, understanding member needs, and offering tailored financial solutions
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Basic math proficiency including retail math skills such as addition, subtraction, percentages, and 10 key typing accuracy
Knowledge of banking operations including cash handling, debits & credits, cashiering, and cash management procedures
Ability to operate financial software systems accurately and efficiently
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with members while maintaining confidentiality and security standards
Preferred
Familiarity with financial services products like savings accounts, loans, and credit options is preferred
Experience in sales or upselling techniques to promote banking products effectively
