Responsibilities
Build and manage implementation scope and effort estimates. Collaborate with Global Professional Services on building project plans
Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs
Create user workflow specifications and establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suite
Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities
Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process
Share emerging trends, what is working well, and areas for improvement with the Analytics Team
Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products
Facilitate transition from implementation phase to support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions within enterprise environments
At least 6 years of experience working with FactSet's Analytics tools - specifically the reporting suite
Deep understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Reporting Solutions products including Vermilion, Portfolio Publisher, Portfolio Reporting Batcher and Analytics APIs
Excellent technical background and exposure to financial services
Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
Willingness to travel
Preferred
CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
Stored Procedures writing and debugging
Performance tuning of SQL code
Familiar with some of the major DBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc
Application server setup (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly)
Web Services, APIs, XML, JSON
HTML syntax familiarity
Experience with programming or scripting languages, e.g. shell, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, VBA, etc
Knowledge of financial instruments or related software
Any experience in Financial Reporting
Technical skills with financial software applications
Working with Excel (data and chart manipulation through VBA and other functions)
