New Millenium Consulting is seeking a PowerEdge Server Administrator to manage the deployment and optimization of Dell PowerEdge servers in enterprise environments. The role involves ensuring high availability and performance of server platforms while supporting critical business applications.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Dell PowerEdge rack, tower, and blade servers

Perform firmware, BIOS, iDRAC, and lifecycle controller updates in line with best practices

Monitor server health, performance, and capacity using Dell OpenManage and related tools

Troubleshoot hardware failures, coordinate part replacements, and manage vendor escalations

Deploy and support virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent) on PowerEdge servers

Install, configure, and patch Windows Server and Linux operating systems

Optimize server resources for virtual workloads and high-availability configurations

Integrate PowerEdge servers with SAN, NAS, and DAS storage solutions

Configure RAID, disk groups, and storage controllers (PERC)

Collaborate with network teams to ensure proper VLAN, NIC teaming, and redundancy configurations

Apply security hardening standards and access controls at hardware and OS levels

Support backup and disaster recovery solutions for PowerEdge-based workloads

Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards
