Responsibilities
Conduct market research and assist in defining product requirements using product management best practices and translate those needs into a compelling product roadmap
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product strategy documents and support product lifecycle processes
Present insights and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
Develop insightful success metrics and tactically implement operational and process improvements across our product feedback portfolio
Contribute to change management initiatives that enhance the way Cisco teams work together
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with 2 years of relevant experience, or currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with 0 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include: Business Administration, Data Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related technical/business field
Experience with networking, analytical, and/or product management concepts
Strong technical background (e.g., software engineering, network administration, or related experience)
Preferred
Demonstrated understanding of software development principles, API logic, and the ability to navigate technical documentation to evaluate product feasibility and identify solutions
Foundational knowledge of platform or common service development, including how these operate across multiple product teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with the ability to define problems, develop clear requirements, and outline technical solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in or an interest in customer-facing roles
Interest in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, or unified policy management domains
