Responsibilities
Answers general inquiries from visitors to the Gardens on routine informational matters
Answers phone calls and replies promptly to voicemail messages; answers and replies promptly to email inquiries
Creates and maintains records such as visitation data, survey responses, and customer service logs
Restocks brochure racks and bulletin boards with maps, Cultivate Magazine, program flyers, and related items
Assists the Information Desk Manager with coordinating monthly volunteer schedules
Helps train and support Information Desk volunteers to ensure excellent customer service
Registers participants for classes and programs; runs reports; processes program payments and membership discounts
Works select weekdays and alternating weekends
Creates and updates PowerPoint slideshows to advertise upcoming programs
Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required
Fluency in written and spoken English is required
High School diploma or GED
One year of customer service experience
Applicants must be at least 18 years or older
Preferred
Spoken Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required
