Will be working directly with business users and business analysts to collect requirements, design ,develop and coordinate with offshore team
Qualification
Required
Strong hands on experience in technical Progress 4GL, OpenEdge and QAD Functions
Understanding of OS Unix/Linux
Understanding QAD MFG/PRO (SE & EE) Functional Modules Distribution / Manufacturing / Finance
The candidate should be able to analyze the business, managing the project, application designing, solutioning, Development(coding), Implementation and Production Rollout for the applications designed using Progress OpenEdge and QAD ERP
Experience in analyzing customer requirements and translating them into detailed specifications and test plans
Willing to work in Application Support - Configuration, Issue Analysis & Break Fixes, Application Enhancements/Customization, Change Request
Knowledge of Progress DB, tables and relationship
The candidate must have at least 2 implementation & rollout projects' experience and / OR experience in upgrade projects
Experience in QAD Admin, manager functions
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Preferred
Roundtable (version control) experience is preferable
EDI integration experience would be preferable
