Responsibilities

Serve as the company-wide point person for all things Salesforce, owning system management, user experience, data quality, and automation
Establish and enforce Salesforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, security, and long-term reliability of company data across all teams and systems
Design, build, and maintain efficient workflows, dashboards, and automations to reduce manual work and enable data-driven decision-making
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into Salesforce architecture, and implement thoughtful, scalable solutions that drive sales opportunities and revenue growth
Own the end-to-end execution of Salesforce-related projects, from initial scoping and stakeholder alignment through configuration, testing, training, and rollout
Develop detailed project plans for Salesforce enhancements, integrations, and process improvements, including milestones, timelines, resource needs, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on business requirements, system capabilities, and change management strategies
Manage competing priorities across departments and initiatives, communicating proactively with stakeholders about progress, blockers, and trade-offs
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles to ensure successful implementation with minimal disruption
Create and maintain project documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and release notes
Establish success metrics and conduct post-implementation evaluations to drive continuous improvement
Drive accountability among teams for data ownership, timely feedback, and adoption during project rollouts and change initiatives
Serve as the primary Salesforce Administrator for the company
Maintain Salesforce platform health, including user management, permissions, roles, profiles, and licenses
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues
Perform regular data integrity audits, deduplication, and backup procedures
Ensure compliance with company data governance policies and best practices
Establish and maintain data quality KPIs and monitoring routines to proactively identify and address issues
Ensure all Salesforce integrations and automations adhere to defined data governance standards
Maintain documentation of data models, governance rules, and data-related decisions to reduce institutional risk
Design and build custom workflows, automations, flows, reports, and dashboards
Translate business needs into Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder) and integrations
Document processes and changes thoroughly for team understanding and training purposes
Regularly review and optimize existing processes and automations to reduce technical debt and improve performance
Collaborate across departments to gather requirements and deliver Salesforce-based solutions
Act as a trusted resource for department leaders and end users by educating and enabling effective system use
Develop and deliver training, onboarding, and enablement materials
Maintain a Salesforce improvement roadmap aligned with business priorities
Serve as the owner of Salesforce data governance, including standards for data structure, field usage, naming conventions, and lifecycle management
Define and maintain source-of-truth rules, deduplication logic, and data survivorship standards across all Salesforce objects
Partner with business leaders to establish clear data ownership and accountability for key data domains (e.g., Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities)
Oversee data cleansing, enrichment, and normalization efforts, including governance of third-party tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, RingLead)
Implement and enforce validation rules, automation, and controls to prevent data degradation over time
Conduct regular data quality reviews and report on data health metrics to leadership
Ensure data governance practices scale with company growth, new integrations, and evolving business processes
Evaluate and recommend Salesforce-compatible tools, plugins, and integrations to enhance operations
Manage third-party integrations (e.g., marketing tools, reporting platforms, support systems)
Stay current with Salesforce releases, functionality, and roadmap
Act as the final decision authority on Salesforce data model changes, data governance trade-offs, and system-level architectural decisions
Support internal teams during CRM-related transitions or process changes
Assist with Salesforce reporting and data analysis for executive leadership
