Mid LevelHighereds is launching a selective AI & Robotics Bootcamp for high school students and is seeking instructors passionate about teaching AI and robotics. The role involves guiding students through AI fundamentals applied to robotics, culminating in portfolio-ready projects suitable for university applications.

Responsibilities
Guide motivated students through AI fundamentals applied to robotics
Culminating in a portfolio-ready robotics or robotics-simulation project suitable for top university applications
Teach Python fundamentals (for beginners)
Teach core AI concepts relevant to robotics
Teach perception (basic computer vision concepts)
Teach decision-making & control (high-level)
Teach introductory machine learning ideas
Teach robotics concepts such as sensors & actuators (conceptual level)
Teach robot perception & navigation
Teach control logic and autonomy
Facilitate project-based learning
Teach robotics simulations (e.g., virtual robots)
Teach AI-driven robotic behaviors
Guide students through a capstone project suitable for college portfolios
Qualification
Required
Strong Python fundamentals
Solid understanding of AI concepts
Exposure to robotics systems (academic, research, or industry)
Prior teaching, TA, tutoring, or mentoring experience
Ability to explain complex systems simply
Comfortable teaching live online (Zoom)
Preferred
Robotics simulation experience
Experience with beginner robotics education
Project-based teaching experience
Experience mentoring high school students
Research or applied work in autonomous systems
