The role supports the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud and data solutions, working closely with senior architects and stakeholders to translate business needs into modern cloud architectures.

Responsibilities
Assist in designing data platform architectures using Azure services like:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure SQL Database
Azure Data Lake Storage
Azure Databricks
Support migration of on-premise data systems to Azure Cloud
Develop and maintain data pipelines , ETL/ELT workflows
Contribute to building analytics and reporting environments
Assist in implementing best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimization
Support solution documentation including architecture diagrams and technical specifications
Work with DevOps teams on Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for data workflows
Monitor cloud resource usage and ensure adherence to cloud governance policies
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of cloud computing, particularly Azure architecture
Hands-on experience with SQL
Azure Storage
Azure Data Factory
Basic knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and APIs
Understanding of networking, IAM, and security basics in Azure
Ability to create basic architecture diagrams using tools like Visio, Draw.io, or Lucidchart
Preferred
Azure Functions
Experience with Python or PySpark
Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Bicep
Azure Certifications such as AZ-900 (Fundamentals), DP-900 (Data Fundamentals), AZ-104 or DP-203 (Advanced)
