Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of AI POCs to validate feasibility, business value, and technical approach
Translate ambiguous business requirements into testable AI prototypes
Experiment with modern AI/ML frameworks, including generative AI, NLP, Agentic AI and automation tools
Develop lightweight prototypes that showcase potential solutions without full production overhead
Adopt a fast fail methods to complete POCs in a short and practical timeframe
Define success metrics, KPIs, and evaluation criteria for AI POCs
Assess technical feasibility, data requirements, scalability, and business impact
Document findings, limitations, and recommendations for scaling successful POCs
Provide clear “go/no-go” insights for business and technology leaders
Partner with business units to identify high-value AI use cases
Work closely with AI Architecture, Data Engineering, and Development teams to ensure smooth transition from POC to pilot/production
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, explaining technical concepts and trade-offs in business-friendly terms
Share learnings and establish best practices for AI experimentation across the enterprise
Stay ahead of AI/ML industry trends, frameworks, and vendor offerings
Rapidly test and integrate new AI tools, APIs, and cloud services
Encourage a culture of innovation by showcasing quick wins through POCs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
6+ years in AI/ML engineering, data science, or advanced analytics
Hands-on experience developing AI POCs and prototypes
Strong knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
Familiarity with generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, AI/ML frameworks and automation strategies
Experience with cloud AI services and APIs
Strong AI/ML model development capabilities, Python/SQL skills and rapid prototyping ability
Ability to move quickly from ideation to functional demonstration
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills
Comfort with ambiguity and iterative experimentation
