In this role, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, support access control, and respond to security incidents while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to facility staff, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as required
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility plant buildings, operational areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or managing contractor check-in in accordance with site procedures
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates during post orders briefings and shift transitions
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
