Hotel Custodian - Hampton Inn

Bosselman Enterprises is seeking a Hotel Custodian to join their team at the Hampton Inn. The role involves performing maintenance and custodial work in and around the hotel to ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep.

Transportation

Responsibilities

Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean, professional and falls within brand standards as well as the Bosselman handbook
Receive, process and complete maintenance requests from the front desk and management in a timely manner
Detail cleaning in rooms and general areas (ex. - carpet shampooing, floor steaming, flipping mattresses, HVAC vent/PTAC detailing, detailing light fixtures, scrubbing walls and baseboards, filling drywall holes and filling furniture chips, changing fire alarm and carbon monoxide batteries, any other additional duties assigned by the Head Housekeeper/AGM/GM)
Change light bulbs (indoor and outdoor) as needed
Manage and oversee proper cleaning from unexpected incidents, (i.e. water leaks)
Fix plumbing in restrooms
Move items and furniture for cleaning or maintenance repairs
Report major problems outside the scope of your abilities to your immediate supervisor for repair
Provide upkeep, maintenance and trimming of landscaping surrounding the buildings
Perform light shoveling and salting of sidewalks and entryways during winter season
Keep the entire lot and perimeter, clean and free of litter
Empty trash containers inside the building and around the perimeter of the lot
Provide friendly and competent customer service with a smile
Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled
Assisting in other duties, as assigned

Required

One to three years Maintenance experience required
Must have mechanical and electrical experience
Must be knowledgeable about safety and take precautions as necessary
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive
Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE
Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
