ASSOCIATE MANAGEMENT AUDITOR
The California State Lottery is a dynamic organization that provides supplemental funding for California’s public schools and colleges. They are seeking an Internal Auditor to plan, conduct, and report on various audits, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities
Independently planning, conducting, and reporting on the results of complex operational, performance, compliance, information systems, and financial related audits of the California State Lottery
Acting as the auditor-in-charge and exercising professional judgment and analytical skills throughout each phase of the audit engagement
Qualification
Required
Current Associate Management Auditor exam
All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to clearly demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position on your State Application (STD Form 678)
Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
The California State Lottery Act provides that no person may be hired as an employee of the Commission if that person has been convicted of a felony or any gambling related offense
The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired

Statement of Qualifications must be submitted along with the State Application
Preferred
Knowledge of audit standards
Knowledge of internal controls and risk based audit concepts
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments within deadlines
Ability to write clear and concise audit reports
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
