Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public services as needed
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, dock doors, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
Support logistics and distribution operations by monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation when required, and documenting gate activity
Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal management and onsite contacts
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
