Director of Strategic Partnerships
WineFetch is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to create, manage, and sustain strategic partnerships that advance the company's business objectives in the RV and Marine industry. The role involves developing partnership strategies, managing relationships with OEMs, and driving business development initiatives to enhance revenue growth and product value.

Responsibilities
Work with IDS executive leadership to define and continually refine a comprehensive OEM & partner strategy that supports the company’s long-term growth and revenue goals
Identify target partners (OEMs, associations, technology alliances) and develop engagement plans for each
Build and nurture high-value relationships with OEM executives and partner contacts
Serve as the primary point of contact and 'face of IDS' to our OEM partners, establishing trust and credibility
This includes regular business reviews with partners, executive briefings, and acting as an advisor on how IDS’s solutions can support their dealer networks and customer experience
Drive joint business development initiatives with partners
Work closely with IDS Sales to leverage OEM relationships for dealer referrals and co-selling opportunities
Create go-to-market programs with partners (e.g., referral incentives, bundled offerings) aimed at increasing IDS’s market penetration via those partnerships
Negotiate partnership terms that define mutual revenue targets, marketing commitments, and success metrics
Collaborate internally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and other teams to ensure partnership projects are executed effectively
Oversee initiatives between IDS software and OEM systems or partner solutions
Work with IDS’s product team to scope integration projects and with the partner’s technical team to ensure successful implementation
Lead all stages of partner negotiations, from initial engagement through contract execution
Structure partnership agreements that outline each party’s contributions, responsibilities, revenue sharing (if applicable), data sharing policies, and other key terms
Implement and oversee partnership programs
Establish SMART objectives for each partnership (e.g., X number of mutual clients in year one, Y% increase in integrated feature usage) and track progress toward those goals
Develop joint action plans with partners and manage against timelines
Convene regular checkpoints with partners to review performance, resolve issues, and explore new opportunities
Internally, provide updates to IDS leadership and stakeholders on partnership status, wins, and challenges
Monitor developments in the OEM and broader dealer technology space
Represent IDS at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
Travel frequently to OEM headquarters and major industry events
The ideal candidate thrives in a growing, evolving environment
Build the business case for expanding the team
Potentially hire and mentor additional Partner Managers or Partner Support roles in the future
Establish best practices and scalable processes for the partner program
Qualification
Required
10+ years in sales, partnerships, and/or business development (preferably in software/tech)
5+ years working closely with technology or product teams to deliver integrated solutions
Exceptional negotiation, strategic thinking, and communication skills (able to interface confidently at all organizational levels)
Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen to evaluate partnership ROI and make data-driven decisions
Industry knowledge of dealerships or OEM operations in RV/marine is a strong plus (ensures credibility with partners)
Demonstrated success in closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles in a B2B context
Willingness to travel frequently – 40%-60%
