QUALITY ANALYST 2

The Quality Analyst 2 role involves developing quality plans and ensuring product compliance with standards, while collaborating with various teams to address quality discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards
Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met
Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications
Aid in the establishment and sustainment of a formal training and qualification program for the SUBSAFE Re-Entry Control (REC) Certification Team
Develop and maintain a formal method for conducting reviews of required OQE
Provide assistance formulating responses to defects discovered during audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate, Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience, Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience, High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience, High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Preferred
Experience with reviewing and understanding Re-Entry Control packages
Experience with working on submarines in accordance with SUBSAFE requirements
Experience with procedural and/or training development
Knowledge of the bounding and corrective action process
