The Billing Specialist will manage all aspects of the firm's billing operations and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

Responsibilities

Edit and finalize pre-bills for attorney review
Submit electronic invoices to clients through various e-billing platforms
Maintain and correct client matter budgets on billing portals
Responds to inquiries for billing/payment history, time/cost entry details, and other basic financial information
Reconcile monthly credit card statements
Post costs and expenses to firm billing platform
Update and manage e-billing websites and portals
Process accounts payable for firm expenses
Deposit checks and manage daily banking transactions
Demonstrates an effective client first approach through team collaboration with attorneys, legal assistants, Paralegals and others

Required

Prior billing experience in a law firm environment required
Familiarity with e-billing and case management platforms including: Advologix/Salesforce, Legal-X, Counsel Link, Legal Tracker, Quovant, and Bottom Line
Willingness to learn additional platforms as needed
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with legal billing software
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Team player with strong communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Anticipate work needs and follow up and follow through with minimal direction
Ability to work in-person at our Blue Bell office
