Responsibilities
Assist with the development, implementation, and management of social media, website, and digital board content for the CSA and its partners
Provide a friendly, people-oriented environment; demonstrate a professional, positive, supportive, and welcoming attitude in all communication, including e-mail messages, telephone inquiries, social media engagement, Salesforce chat and in-person interactions
Assist in developing, planning, and hosting CSA events
Updating and creating new web content for the department in TommieLink
Provide daily operations assistance within the CSA
Support, attend, and participate in campus activities in which the CSA needs to be represented
Answer the questions of customers who approach the desk, providing necessary solutions and direction
Maintain a good working knowledge of current and upcoming events happening on campus
Meet regularly and maintain work communication with supervisor in person and via Microsoft Teams
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels
Students must be actively enrolled at least part-time in courses for credit
Preferred
Background/experience with communications and campus engagement
Experience with/ability to learn design software and work in web-based programs such as Canva
Experience with/ability to learn social media delivery platforms
Excellent written and oral communication skills (including proofreading ability)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to think creatively and take initiative
Ability to work independently
Ability to be inclusive and have a commitment to equity
