Responsibilities
Apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems
Analyze the impact of the products developed or the systems designed on the environment and on the users
Perform testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production to determine the root cause of failure, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality
Estimate the time and cost to complete various engineering projects
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED certificate
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Experience reading, interpreting and developing Engineering Drawings/Blueprints and schematics
Ability to write reports and review/develop technical documentation such as technical manuals as well as installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to a variety of personnel at external activities
Organization and prioritization skills
Able to use MS Office Software Products such as Word and Excel
Preferred
3 years professional experience in engineering
Bachelor's level degree in any engineering discipline
