Responsibilities

Write and test product or system development code

Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices amongst available technologies (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

Partner with engineering teams across GCS to estimate resource requirements for upcoming features and infrastructure changes

Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage architecture

2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture

2 years of coding experience in C++ or Python

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field

5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms

4 years of experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL)

3 years of experience in data analysis and SQL

Experience developing, integrating and deploying Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) systems

Experience developing accessible technologies
