They are seeking a motivated Senior Traffic Engineer to join their Traffic Engineering group, where the candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering assignments and collaborate with a diverse team on projects related to traffic studies, signal design, and planning services for various clients.

Responsibilities
Take on exciting engineering assignments while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals
Provide expert engineering and planning services to a variety of clients, including city, state, and federal government agencies and private sector clients
Engage in and support internal Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program
Qualification
Required
BS in an accredited Transportation/Civil Engineering program
PE License is required; PTOE preferred
Experience with traffic analysis and reporting is important along with the ability to apply the Manual-On Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and GDOT Policies and standards
Clear knowledge of the GDOT PDP and LAP processes and requirements
Excellent technical knowledge in Traffic Engineering, including a combination of intersection and corridor analysis, traffic simulation, traffic forecasting, safety analysis, signal timing, ICE analysis, and report writing/documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Preferred
10+ years of experience in traffic engineering is preferred
PTOE preferred
Certifications in GDOT PDP and LAP processes preferred
