Responsibilities
Design, implement, and administer cloud security controls and automation in AWS/Azure
Perform cloud security assessments, penetration testing, and security impact analysis
Monitor security operations, respond to incidents, and escalate issues as needed
Conduct Incident Response and Forensics using SIEM tools
Support DevOps and development teams to identify and remediate security and privacy risks
Administer firewalls, IAM solutions, and access management processes
Implement and support IAM solutions including ForgeRock and SailPoint
Maintain and update security documentation (SSP, Risk Assessments, POA&M, CAP)
Ensure security requirements are addressed across the full SDLC
Comply with MHBE security, change control, and PMO policies
Availability for off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience administering security controls for large, mission-critical systems
5+ years in security operations (monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response)
4+ years of hands-on cloud security experience (AWS required)
Experience securing Windows and Linux environments
Strong knowledge of AWS security services (Security Groups, WAF, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.)
Experience with SIEM tools, IAM administration, and access management
Experience assessing risks, vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigations
Preferred
Experience supporting public-facing or government systems
Hands-on experience with ForgeRock and SailPoint IAM
Knowledge of NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, IRS Pub 1075, and MARS-e
Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing
Firewall experience (ASA and/or Fortinet)
Scripting experience (Java, JavaScript, Shell)
Security certifications such as CISSP or equivalent
