Responsibilities
Testing and Validation: Manual and automated software testing. This includes executing test cases, identifying bugs, and logging defects with clear and concise details
Organization and Planning: Organize testing schedules, track project activities, and ensure that testing artifacts, such as test plans and test results, are well-documented and maintained
Deployment Support: Deployment of software by helping with pre- and post-deployment checks and collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions
Communication: Communicates testing status, issues, and results to team members and other stakeholders
Output Comparison: Conducts comparisons of software outputs against expected results or against previous versions to identify and report discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Experience in manual and automated software testing
Ability to execute test cases, identify bugs, and log defects with clear and concise details
Strong organizational skills to organize testing schedules and track project activities
Experience in documenting and maintaining testing artifacts, such as test plans and test results
Ability to support software deployment with pre- and post-deployment checks
Strong communication skills to convey testing status, issues, and results to team members and stakeholders
Experience in conducting comparisons of software outputs against expected results or previous versions
