Responsibilities
Maintain Attorney’s Calendars, by scheduling deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, etc
Scheduling hearings in accordance with judicial procedures and coordinating hearings with judges, opposing counsel, client, etc
Filing of court pleadings (including filing of first legal action) and service of the same via E-portal and USPS
Ensure judicial deadlines and client deadlines are met
Other administrative task as requested by attorneys
Running and review of court dockets in all circuits throughout the State of Illinois including bankruptcy court
Identifying issues in foreclosure and plan of action to resolve
Draft of foreclosure pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc
Maintaining accurate and current information in internal case management system and providing updates to all clients via E-mail and Vendor Management Systems (LPS/Black Knight and Tempo)
Maintaining communication with clients, opposing counsels, judicial assistants and clerks including building & maintaining positive relations with the same
Qualification
Required
3 years of related experience and/or training in mortgage foreclosure litigation and other defaulted related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience
MS Office Suite Knowledge a must
Experience with Real Estate/Foreclosure
PC proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe; and experience working in client systems
Preferred
ATO knowledge a plus
Experiences with client systems such as BKFS, Tempo, LegalTracker, etc
