Responsibilities
Issue production briefs for assigned production areas, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
Enter and maintain production data, including production reporting, time utilization, component issues, scrap, work order closeout packets, and inventory adjustments provided by Distribution
Monitor available quantities of bulk raw materials stored in silos, tanks, and totes to support uninterrupted production
Track material availability and proactively communicate potential shortages; coordinate with Quality to ensure required materials are released in a timely manner
Identify discrepancies or errors in scheduling, production planning, or QAD systems, and take initiative to resolve issues or escalate to management as needed
Assist with maintaining label inventory and perform basic maintenance on label printers
Support annual year-end physical inventory counts
Assist with the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including the transition from manual labeling processes to digital labeling
Serve as backup to the Production Planning Supervisor on an as-needed basis
Lead or participate in special projects as assigned
Demonstrate understanding of all applicable Quality Management System (QMS) requirements related to the role
Maintain awareness of the Quality Policy and how individual performance contributes to Critical Success Factors
Follow all job-specific procedures and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and operational standards
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalency certificate
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding and previous experience of Work Order creation/release, issues and receipts and their basic impact
Understanding of production scheduling, material movement and their associated transactions
Proficient with label printing and formatting software
