Responsibilities
Provide litigation support to 2–3 attorneys on active civil litigation matters
Assist with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters
Prepare, format, proofread, and file pleadings and other legal documents in accordance with California court rules and deadlines
Manage document control, including organization, indexing, and maintenance of electronic and physical case files
Coordinate and assist with discovery processes, including document production and responses
Support trial preparation efforts, including trial binders, exhibits, witness materials, and trial logistics
Utilize document management and trial presentation software effectively
Calendar deadlines, hearings, depositions, and court appearances
Coordinate with internal teams, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel as needed
Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing litigation support in a civil litigation environment (as a Litigation Assistant or Paralegal)
Working knowledge of California court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
Proficiency with document management systems and trial presentation software
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Preferred
Associate degree and/or paralegal certificate from an American Bar Association (ABA)–approved program
Trial experience
Experience in real estate (title/escrow) and/or insurance defense litigation
Familiarity with high-volume or complex litigation matters
