Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance an existing Node.js-based web platform
Support modernization and migration to current technology frameworks
Design and implement new application features and components
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and sprint planning
Collaborate on rapid development and deployment of high-priority initiatives
Perform data aggregation and processing tasks
Provide cross-functional coverage and operational support as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience and proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
Mapping or geospatial libraries (e.g., Mapbox, OpenStreetMap)
SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with PostgreSQL
Git-based version control systems, release and version management practices
Experience with API development and integration
Ability to independently solve development challenges
Responsible and effective use of AI tools to enhance productivity
Software development best practices and SDLC methodologies, core data structures and algorithms
