Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally with accounting/finance, operations, trading, and risk teams to ensure data consistency, transparent communication, and timely information sharing
Coordinate information from accounting, operations, trading, and risk management to reconcile physical exposure to exchange-traded derivative positions
Reconcile commodity price exposure by validating priced vs. unpriced positions, pricing formulas, and timing differences tied to LME, CME, or COMEX indices
Ensure physical quantities, pricing status, and market basis are correctly recorded and reflected through a daily position reconciliation
Perform monthly and year-end-closing processes related to reconciliations and hedge accounting
Execute hedge accounting processes for LME, CME, and COMEX hedges, including documentation, designation, and ongoing effectiveness assessments
Identify and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, pricing, valuation, or hedge alignment
Serve as backup on various treasury functions, including risk management
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, engineering, or related field
1–3 years of accounting or finance experience with a focus on data reconciliations
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate and explain variances
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems (RIMAS, SAP, or similar)
Basic programming skills
